Ms Claudia Hildebrandt

Research summary

Claudia manages the School's teaching facilities and resources which are central to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

She is also responsible for the Schools extensive geology collection and map archive. Claudia advocates collection based research and teaching to enrich student experience and to strenghten the School's links with the science, art and museums community as well as external partner organisations.

Biography

Claudia has over 15 years experience of working with geological and natural history collections. She gained valuable experience in collection managment and display development. Since starting her role at the Univeristy of Bristol her focus moved to advocating and facilitating collection based teaching, research, engagement and partnerhsip working.

Claudia holds an MSc in Geology and Palaeontology and a postgrad certificate in Museums and Galleries Studies.
