INASP's aim is to promote African scholarly journals to new and existing audiences. We have completed the first phase of a project to allow them to publish, promote and manage the tables of contents and abstracts of related journals via the web. The next phase, which will complete by summer 2004, will enable them to publish the full-text of journal articles. The system we have created is based on the Open Journals System software, and gives the ability for articles to be peer-reviewed as part of the workflow.
